SERVE

To be able to put on the Big Jesus Tent outreach event, we need your help! We need YOU! There are many different volunteer roles that need to be filled. 

PRE-EVENT

CHAIR SETUP TEAM

Team Members will setup and zip-tie all the chairs needed for the Big Jesus Tent. Lunch and water provided.

NOTE: Chair Setup team members can also serve on other Teams.

DURING THE EVENT

EVENT PREP TEAM

Team Members will come to the Tent an hour before doors open on their assigned night to help clean and prepare for our guests to arrive. Members will also be asked to pray over the chairs for the person who will be sitting there.

20 people needed per night

NOTE: Pre-Event team members can also serve on the Decision Follow-up Team.

GREETING TEAM

Team Members will arrive an hour before the doors open on their assigned night to help greet all our guests and answer questions.

30 people needed per night


NOTE: Greeting team members can also serve on the Decision Follow-up Team.

USHER TEAM

Team Members will arrive an hour before doors open on their assigned night to help all of our guests find their seats, answer questions and help collect the offering as guests exit the Tent. Team members will pray throughout the tent prior to the event.

PARKING TEAM

Team Members will arrive an hour before doors open on their assigned night to help all of our guests safely park their vehicles. They will also help guests at the end of the event as they leave. Team members will meet as a group to pray prior to the event.

LIFE WITHOUT LIMBS MINISTRY TABLES

Team Members will arrive an hour before doors open on their assigned night to serve all our guests in getting information on the Tent, becoming a Hope Partner or purchasing available products. Team members will meet as a group to pray prior to the event.

14 people needed per night

DECISION FOLLOW UP TEAM

Team Members will come to the Tent 30 minutes before doors open on their assigned night for training. Team Members should be ready to minister to 1 - 3 of those who respond to the invitation to follow Jesus Christ in the following manner:

  1. Verify they understood the prayer of salvation and answer questions

  2. Pray for any personal needs and a sealing prayer over their decision

  3. Collect a response card from them

  4. Give them a next step card, a letter from Nick and a Book of John

200 people needed per night

NOTE: Decision Follow Up team members can also serve on the Pre-Event and Greeting Teams.

POST EVENT CLEANUP

Team Members will stay following the event to prep the Tent for the next day: cleaning trash, adjusting chairs and other various small tasks.

15 people needed per night


NOTE: Cleanup team members can also serve on the Decision Follow Up Team.

POST EVENT

CHAIR STRIKE TEAM

Team Members will strike (tear down) all chairs in the tent and load into containers to store for the next event.

60 people needed
